30 Years of PROZON – Thank You for Being With Us!

30 years of the PROZON Foundation is a lot of history. But when we look back at our anniversary gathering at Dwórzno Vineyard, what we see first are the people: our clients, partners, friends and colleagues. Over the years we have worked with them, developed new ideas with them and taken on one challenge after another together.

We met on 18 September to look back on that history a little, and above all to enjoy some good time together.

There was a welcome glass of wine, the official opening of the anniversary celebration, a walk around Dwórzno Vineyard, a tour of the winery and a chance to bottle wine yourself. There was also a wine tasting, lots of conversation and plenty of laughter.

During the celebration we presented “Friend of the Climate” awards to people and organisations who have supported PROZON in their work and helped shape our efforts for responsible refrigerant management, climate protection and the sustainable development of the HVACR sector.

We also looked beyond Poland. In a special video recorded for our anniversary, Alois Mhlanga, Director of the Climate Innovation and Montreal Protocol Division at UNIDO, congratulated PROZON and thanked us for our years of cooperation. Recognition from such an important institution means a great deal to us, as international cooperation has become a key part of the Foundation’s work.

30 years behind us. What’s next?

The anniversary was a good moment to look back on how far we have come. We started as the Ozone Layer Protection Foundation, established in 1996, and went on to build a refrigerant recovery and reclamation system, run training and certification, and take part in international projects. Today we work on the circular economy and are developing the 4R Centre.

But 30 years of PROZON is about more than projects, technologies and numbers. It is first and foremost about people and relationships, without which none of this would have been possible.

That is why we want to thank everyone who joined us on 18 September at Dwórzno Vineyard. Thank you for coming, for the conversations, the good wishes, the shared memories and the wonderful atmosphere.

We would also like to thank everyone who has been part of PROZON’s story over the years but could not be with us that day.

It was our 30th anniversary, and we are glad we could celebrate it with our clients, partners and friends.
