The history of our company in Poland dates back to 1990. Termo Products was founded at that time and soon became the country’s leading importer and distributor of refrigerants. In 1997, TERMO SCHIESSL was formed from the combination of the potential, knowledge and experience of Termo Products and Robert Schiessl GmbH, and the existing range of refrigerant gases was expanded to include a complete range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and components.
In existence since 1924, the German company Robert Schiessl GmbH now has a network of companies in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Norway, Italy and is one of Europe’s largest wholesalers in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
Since the company was founded, we have been implementing cutting-edge technology, not only taking on the challenges posed by the market, but also setting the future direction of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry in the country.
Today, Schiessl Poland is a dynamically growing, important company on the domestic market, guided in its activities primarily by customer care expressed in the high quality of products and services offered, as well as concern for the environment and the broader interests of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry.
The company’s permanent inventory includes more than four thousand refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump products from reputable manufacturers, and it is possible to import any of the many thousands of other products upon request.
The company’s headquarters is currently located in Warsaw in a modern office at 46 Karczunkowska Street, and thirteen of its branches are located in major cities across the country.
In line with the company’s motto: WE DELIVER MORE THAN PRODUCTS at each of our 13 branches, in addition to sales service, you can get comprehensive assistance and technical advice in the design and construction of efficient, energy-saving and environmentally friendly refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. You can get the necessary information on next-generation green agents and get competent support on legislative issues.
The central logistics warehouse of Schiessl Poland is located in Środa Wielkopolska near Poznań, connected to a modern refrigerant and propellant distribution station suitable for filling all types of refrigerants.
The company’s greatest asset is its young, professionally well-prepared, dedicated team. It is not only the young age and enthusiasm that make up the value of the team, but also the knowledge and skills of all those employed by the company. We employ more than one hundred and thirty employees, three-quarters of whom hold university degrees. Among them are more than fifty graduates of technical universities, including forty-some engineers with majors in refrigeration and air conditioning.
We are co-founders and active participants in the nationwide refrigerant recovery and reclamation network coordinated by the PROZON Climate Protection Foundation. As part of the project implemented by the Foundation, a refrigerant gas regeneration center and an analytical laboratory have been launched, several hundred service companies have been equipped with professional ozone recovery equipment, and more than 5,000 installers have been trained in environmentally friendly techniques for operating refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
Our company is also a co-founder and active member of the industry’s employer organization, the National Refrigeration Forum, whose goals include. Protecting the rights and interests of the refrigeration industry, representing it before state institutions and bodies, and integrating companies in the industry.
In 2000, Termo Schiessl was accepted, as the first and only representative of Poland, as a member of IRWO – the International Refrigeration Wholesalers Organization, which for more than fifty years has been a platform for the exchange of technical, commercial and organizational experience of wholesalers from across Europe.
Product offering
Refrigeration
We provide a comprehensive supply of refrigeration equipment: compressors and chillers from reputable manufacturers, coolers and condensers taking into account in practice all refrigeration and freezing applications.
The solutions we offer use new technologies based on the latest generation of low-GWP synthetic agents and natural agents, providing reduced operating costs, energy savings and the ability to integrate into existing installations.
Air conditioning
In terms of air conditioning solutions, we are a supplier of equipment for installations of any size and purpose, whether for industrial facilities, public utilities, multi-family residential buildings or small rooms with special requirements.
Such a wide range includes: split and multisplit air conditioners for residential and commercial applications, VRF systems for commercial and industrial applications, chillers for air conditioning and process cooling applications.
Heat pumps
Our air-to-water heat pumps provide a comprehensive approach to supplying a single-family home with domestic hot water, heating and cooling. Designed for installation in new and retrofit buildings, where they can be integrated into existing heating systems, including solar thermal systems. A wide range of heat pump capacities makes it easy to find a customized solution for each home.
Refrigerants
Since the beginning of our activity, we have in our current offer all the refrigerants that count in the market. We are also involved in environmental protection activities and promoting new green agents with “zero” ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP).
The wide range of refrigerants in our portfolio is complemented by coolants and oils for refrigeration and air conditioning applications. We provide our customers with assistance in the field of gas recovery and conversion of plants to new, environmentally friendly agents.
