In response to the challenges faced by the industry as a whole, the Foundation continues the European training programme REAL Alternatives. As part of the programme, the Academy of Alternative Factors was created, where great emphasis is placed on improving practical skills. The Foundation has launched a training laboratory equipped with technologically advanced cooling circuits.
The training covers the most important aspects of using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant, with particular emphasis on the differences between freon systems and circuits working with CO2. The issues that could not be missing are safety issues and the requirements of the PED Directive. The full training cycle ends with an exam and the international REAL Alternatives certificate.
