Dr. Eng. Andrzej Piechocki has passed away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Eng. Andrzej Piechocki, an employee of the PROZON Foundation, an outstanding scientist and lecturer, who died on December 28, 2022.

Dr. Piechocki was a pioneer in research on sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and its application in Poland. He developed an original textbook and training curriculum for service technicians operating equipment filled with SF6. Over the course of 5 years, he trained nearly 200 specialists in the industry. A mentor of the Polish power engineering sector.

Deepest condolences to the family and loved ones are extended by Krzysztof Grzegorczyk and the entire team of the PROZON Climate Protection Foundation.
