The recovered SF6 is hazardous waste, and its transfer to the Foundation must be confirmed by the Waste Transfer Card, issued in the Database on Products and Packaging and Waste Management (BDO) system.
Recovery from SF6 filled equipment
The PROZON Foundation offers recovery from devices filled with SF6:
- MV switchgears;
- HV switchgears;
- circuit breakers;
- disconnectors;
- single, disassembled modules and chambers;
- electron microscopes, mass spectrometers and all other devices.
We also offer recovery from hermetically sealed devices using specialised equipment that prevents the leakage of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) into the atmosphere.
