What is refrigerant regeneration?

Refrigerant regeneration is the process of reprocessing used or contaminated substances in order to restore their original properties. In practice, it involves recovering refrigerant from refrigeration systems and then subjecting it to an advanced purification process. All contaminants are removed – oils, moisture, acids, and solid particles – that could negatively affect system performance. After full purification and filtration, the recovered gas achieves purity parameters comparable to a new product.

When reusing refrigerants, ensuring the highest possible parameters is essential. For this reason, regenerated refrigerants undergo strict quality control to meet all industry standards. Each batch is analysed in our modern laboratory, and its high quality and parameters are confirmed by a quality certificate attached to every refrigerant. This ensures that the delivered refrigerant is clean and safe for your equipment.
Compliance with AHRI 700 standard

In addition to the aspects mentioned above, it is also important to comply with the international AHRI 700 standard – an industry benchmark defining the minimum purity and allowable contamination levels in refrigerants. Meeting this standard means, among other things, very low moisture content, absence of acids, and negligible amounts of non-condensable gases.
