Józef Grzegorz Kurek, Mayor of Mszczonów, Has Passed Away

It is with deep sorrow that we received the news of the passing of the Mayor of Mszczonów, Mr Józef Grzegorz Kurek, who led the Mszczonów municipality without interruption from 1988: for the first two years as its head administrator, and then for 34 years as its mayor. His passing is an immense loss for the town of Mszczonów, its residents, and all those who had the honour of working with him.

Mayor Józef Grzegorz Kurek was a man of great passion and dedication to his work. For many years he tirelessly promoted the development of his town, taking numerous initiatives to improve the quality of life of its residents. He enjoyed enormous trust among the people of the Mszczonów municipality. His vision of sustainable development, his care for the future of Mszczonów, and his ability to introduce modern solutions made him a leader who always placed the common good above all else.

For the PROZON Foundation, Mayor Kurek was an invaluable partner. He was the only one who opened his doors to our new investment, supporting innovative, environmentally friendly solutions in the area of refrigerant management. His openness to new technologies, his concern for the common good, and his understanding of our work had an immeasurable impact on the development of our Foundation.

Mayor Kurek was a person who not only fulfilled his duties with dedication, but also left a lasting mark on the hearts of those who worked alongside him. His commitment, wisdom and care for the future of the town and the planet will remain with us always.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Mayor’s family, his loved ones, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him and working with him. He will be greatly missed.
