POLECO 2024 — Clean Technologies for Business Benefits

Under the theme “Clean Technologies for Business Benefits”, POLECO 2024 will showcase the latest trends and technologies related to the circular economy and the transition towards a green economy. For companies operating in the environmental protection sector, this is an excellent opportunity to familiarise themselves with new European Union regulations on critical raw materials and waste shipments. The new legislation introduces a series of changes that have a significant impact on companies involved in recycling, import and export of waste.
Fair participants will also be able to discuss the role of the metal recycling industry in the context of the circular economy and compliance with EU environmental requirements. Topics to be addressed include, among others: the deposit-return system and extended producer responsibility, circular business transformation, and the closed-loop recycling of plastics.

The RE-ELECTRO 4 LIFE Project

The PROZON Foundation has been working to protect the ozone layer and the climate for 28 years, offering modern solutions in refrigerant management, including the innovative RE-ELECTRO 4 LIFE project. This project aims to reclaim and recycle refrigerants and components from electrical and electronic equipment being taken out of service, thereby extending their lifecycle and minimising harmful gas emissions. RE-ELECTRO 4 LIFE supports the circular economy concept, promoting the sustainable use of raw materials and reducing environmental impact.
The PROZON stand at the fair will be an excellent opportunity to learn more about reclamation and recycling technologies that are key to climate protection. Thanks to initiatives such as RE-ELECTRO 4 LIFE, the Foundation helps companies and institutions implement environmentally friendly solutions that reduce emissions and make optimal use of resources.
